An LA Court Found Tory Lanez To Be Innocent & Are Awaiting To Reinvestigate His Case
There’s been a new development in the Tory Lanez case and it appears the Canadian rapper might be a free man soon.
Last year, Tory Lanez was sentenced to 10 years behind bars for shooting Megan Thee Stallion in 2020. However, it appears the case will be reinvestigated.
At the time, Megan did not appear in court to give a victim impact statement, but District Attorney Kathy Ta read the testimony on her behalf. “Not only did he shoot me, but he made fun of my trauma,” she wrote in excerpts of her victim impact statement.

Well, new report reaching us is that a Los Angeles court has found Tory Lanez to be innocent and are awaiting to Reinvestigate his case.
Tory has always maintained his innocence and back in July, the rapper’s driver claimed it was actually Megan Thee Stallion’s former BFF, Kelsey Harris, that grabbed the gun on the night of the incident.
According to the driver, Tory tried to wrestle the gun from Kelsey when Megan was shot. Unfortunately his testimony wasn’t used because a judge said he should’ve used it during the trial.
The new development of Tory’s supposed innocence is coming a month after prison guards seized his recording equipment during a cell raid. Taking to Instagram, the incarcerated rapper alleged that his project was shut down because prison officials were aware he was helping other inmates find a path to freedom.
“The rumors are true. The Prison Tapes will be discontinued until further notice,” Tory confirmed before claiming it was the work of the higher ups who figured how many inmates were being helped in a life-changing way because of the prison tapes.
