Lil Xan Ordered To Pay $27K Fine For Brandishing Gun In Dispute Over 2Pac Remarks

Rapper Lil Xan, real name Nicholas Diego Leanos has been ordered to pay a man almost $28,000 after he reportedly pulled a gun during a dispute at a gas station in downtown Los Angeles.

It all started when Xan said that late West Coast rapper 2Pac Shakur is “boring” during a 2018 interview which left a man identified as Anthony Sanchez furious.

The fight took place in 2019, five years ago, at a Los Angeles 7-Eleven, where Sanchez bumped into the 28-year-old California native at a gas station and confronted him about his previous remarks, calling Tupac “boring”.

Upon spotting Xan, Sanchez reportedly approached him, saying: “Look at this little b-tch.” This prompted the rapper to pull a gun out on the man. In fear for his life, Sanchez quickly fled in his vehicle.

Following the altercation that ensued and Xan brandishing a gun, he has now been ordered to pay $27,823.89 in damages and other costs to Sanchez. This was a default judgment as the rapper did not show up to argue his case in court.

Notwithstanding, the “Betrayed” hitmaker apologized shortly after the backlash from his remarks.

“I think 2Pac is a legend. I don’t have to explain myself to anybody, but I grew up on a lot of old school West Coast, a lot of old school East Coast. But after that, that was just a little mishap,” he said.

According to The Source, Xan’s “boring” comment was during a 2018 interview with RevoltTV when he rated Tupac’s music a “2” out of 10. The response sparked widespread backlash, with many criticizing Xan’s dismissal of Shakur’s impact on Hip-Hop.
