32-Year-Old Father Famous For Having Same Birthday As Wife And Babies Shot & Killed Outside Dunkin’ Donuts

A community in Ohio is grieving after a 32-year-old father famous for having same birthday as wife and babies, Jose Ervin, Jr. was shot and killed outside a Dunkin’ Donuts on Friday.

According to reports Ervin was at the store when he got into an argument with another man around 2:45 a.m. Upon arrival of the police, he was found with a gunshot wound and rushed to the hospital, where he later died.

The unfortunate incident happened place near Turney Road and McCracken Road. The shooting is currently being investigated by the police, although no arrests have been made yet. The deceased’s family along with his wife, Scierra, gathered for a vigil at the Dunkin’ Donuts on Sunday.

His sister described him as a fun-loving person who was well-loved by everyone, from the police to local families before making a plea for the shooter to come forward. “There’s no reason to keep running,” she said.

Ervin leaves behind his wife, who is pregnant with their next child, and their twin babies, who all share the same birthday. “Not long ago, we were celebrating their birthdays, and now we’re facing this tragedy,” his sister said, expressing her sadness.

A GoFundMe page has been set up, asking for donations to assist with the unexpected expenses of the funeral costs and to support the family.

The news of Ervin’s passing has since gone viral on social media, garnering lots of reactions from netizens. “Now her and the babies gone be sad for their birthday every year omg,” someone commented.

“She’s pregnant again.. Lord protect her and her family and cover them during this hard time,” another person wrote. “Y’all don’t value human life no more and I hate that for us as a generation,” someone else added.
