Couple Arrested For Allegedly Beating Their 5-Month-Old Daughter To Death In Houston
A Houston couple are going viral over their alleged barbaric act. They have been charged with the murder of their 5-month-old daughter Ja’nae.
According to reports reaching us on the incident, the father, Glenn Wayne Smith, allegedly brutally attacked their daughter over the course of 4 days.
Glenn Wayne Smith is accused of abusing the child while the mother Jasmine Ellison, failed to take any action. Ja’nae was partially paralyzed and throwing up blood, yet her parents waited until Sept. 29 to call 911, per the authorities.

“The child was found with multiple serious injuries including swelling and bleeding of the brain, no brain activity at the time of admission, blood coming out of her mouth, broken ribs, healed broken ribs,” the authorities revealed in a statement.
Both parents were questioned and authorities determined their statements were inconsistent with the injuries the child had which led to their arrest and being charged.
According to the mother’s lawyer, Smith actually seek medical care for their daughter but was told to bring her back if her conditions worsened, alleging that the child’s state got worse while she was working.
The mother was initially being held on a $1 million bond which was later reduced to $250,000. On the other hand, the father, Ellison’s bond was set at $150,000.
The news has since gone viral on social media, garnering lots of reactions from angry netizens. “There’s nothing that a FIVE month old can EVER do to make you that angry,” someone commented. “Special place in hell for them ppl,” another person wrote.
