Nelly And Ashanti Are Reportedly Expecting Their Second Child Together

Once again, congratulations are in order for Ashanti and Nelly! According to new reports reaching us, the R&B singer is pregnant again.

Back in July, Ashanti and Nelly welcomed a baby boy, Kareem Kenkaide Haynes, and it appears they already have a sibling for the little man kicking in the singer’s belly.

According to MTO, the ‘Rock Wit U’ crooner and Nelly have been raising their newborn son in the couple’s St Louis mansion. The rapper and Ashanti were stealthily married last December, and they moved into a gigantic mansion together, per the outlet.

“They wanted to have another baby. Not so soon, but God had other plans,” a friend of the singer told the publication.

The couple are reportedly over the moon the pregnancy. Notwithstanding, the pregnancy won’t be slowing the 44-year-old down as she is scheduled to perform next week at a benefit concert in New York.

“Ashanti is definitely showing [her new pregnancy]. She’s glowing and beautiful,” the insider added. It’s noteworthy that the couple are yet to officially announce that they’re expecting a second child.

After her first child, the R&B star opened up to Entertainment Tonight about their bundle of joy, who they’ve already nicknamed KK. “His dad named him with a lot of pride,” she said. Kenkaide is a tribute to her own father’s name and Kareem meaning generous, kind and dignified spoke to the couple.

“Having all of us in the delivery room and seeing his face for the first time, I cried it was just so emotional and spiritual at the same time. Having a vision of this moment for so long. It was such an electrifying feeling,” she recalled.
