Erica Mena Says Safaree Chased Her For 3 Years & She Wasn’t Budging
Safaree and Erica Mena have been trending after the former took to social media to share a security footage showing Mena getting physical with him.
In the viral clip, Mena is seen in different incidents shoving Safaree and even damaging property in their home while their children watch.
“I have to put myself first. Because I’m either gonna end up in jail or worse dealing with someone whose anger management is nonexistent,” the rapper and reality star said while explaining his decision to share the footage.

Safaree however took accountability, admitting he should have recognized the signs of her volatility before starting a family with her. “When you have children with someone, I should have just noticed certain things when it came to parenting,” he said.
Erica then fired back by sharing a video of their daughter alleging he mistreated their son. She also made a video reacting to some of the comments from fans. “So in my mentions this morning, I’ve come across a few comments stating ‘I don’t feel sorry for her.. she chose him,’” she said.
“I chose him? Do y’all forget I was chased for about three years I wasn’t budging,” she continued. “Like mf had to go through my friends and my family just to get me to reply in a text, let alone give him any type of chance.”
“The chance was given and life took it course.. and before you know it, he was popping the question. Because this person went so hard. It was hard not to believe,” she added.
The reality star then explained how she got pregnant again while their marriage had hit rock bottom. “We were still married and going through rollercoaster trying to fix our marriage, so with that process comes makeup s*x a lot,” she said. Watch the video below:
