Tyrese Says He’s Stressed Out As Baby Mama Wants To Increase Monthly Child Support Payments To $40k

Tyrese admits he’s stressed out as his ex-wife, Samantha Gibson, is asking a court to increase his monthly child support payments to $40,000 a month.

The singer/actor and Samantha tied the knot on Valentine’s Day in 2017, and they welcomed Soraya Rayas, their daughter, the following year.

In 2020, the ‘Fast and Furious’ star announced his divorce from Samantha. He did not mention what led to their separation at the time. However, in a recent video, Tyrese revealed that his ex-wife is requesting his tax returns and bank statements to assess his income.

According to the actor, his attorneys wrote to him requesting that he send over all of his bank statements and tax returns. He claims they are scrutinizing all of his movies and concerts to try to work out exactly how much he is earning so that he can circle back for more money.

“I’m out here stressed the f-ck out,” the 45-year-old said on livestream, adding that his ex-wife had initially requested $20,000 monthly child support.

Tyrese then accused Samantha and her lawyers of “trying to take the monthly child support to $40,000”. He also claimed that Samantha earns almost $150,000 annually as a social media influencer.

“She divorced me 4 years ago in August 2020 and she makes close to $150k or $160k at this point because she is on social media. I’m out here stressed out because she divorced me,” he said.

”She divorced me and they’re rubbing their hands over there hoping I do more concerts, shows, movies.” He continued, “They’re trying to get to the bottom of what actual money is in my bank account so they can put it in their law firm’s pockets. This is a dirty f-cking game out here, ain’t it? Welp, y’all keep waiting.”

Tyrese says the judge in his divorce case hase been making “illegal” judgments. The singer has filed an appeal.
