Diddy’s ongoing criminal trial took a whole new turn when the rapper’s former assistant who’s been testifying under the pseudonym “Mia” took the stand. She detailed years of emotional trauma and disturbing allegations of abuse in her testimony.

The courtroom has however been respectful, and ultra-protective of Mia’s identity for the past three days since she began taking the stand. But that has now changed.

Mia’s identity has been revealed. A YouTube clip has surfaced online, allegedly showing Diddy’s ex assistant, a blonde White woman. The woman in the video is labeled as “Sarah,” and the clip was leaked by popular Twitter account Inner City Press.

In the video uploaded 11-years ago, Sarah aka Mia can be seen wishing Diddy a happy birthday. “Puff Daddy, the living legend himself. You’ve not only revolutionized the game, but the entire world. I’m so blessed to call you my friend,” she said in the clip.

“Thank you for truly being one of the biggest inspirations in my life. To another 44 years of brilliance. Let’s f*ck sh*t up. I love you. Happy birthday,” she added, blowing the rapper a kiss.

Mia’s identity was being protected for obvious reasons such as trauma, safety, and privacy, and this leak basically just blew that all up. There are words circulating that the identity leak could be a big deal for the trial.

According to some legal experts, the disgraced rapper’s defense team is likely to push for a mistrial over it. Because when a witness’s identity is compromised during a high-profile trial like this, it can affect everything, from jury perception to witness safety to whether the trial can even continue fairly.

The ‘Bad Boy’ honcho watched from the defence table with arms folded in his lap as she testified about her fears of retribution for reporting his alleged abuse. Mia said she lived in fear of violent rages from him as she worked by his side.

She cited multiple situations where she alleged that the rapper sexually assaulted her, including one time when she said she woke up to him trying to rape her. According to the woman, the assaults began early in her career working for Diddy, including one night on his 40th birthday at the Plaza Hotel in New York City.

She recounted him giving her two vodka shots that hit her very hard and kissed her and put his hand up her dress. Another night, between the years of 2009-10, while she was sleeping in a bunk bed at Diddy’s LA home, she said she woke up to his ‘weight’ on top of her.

Mia said she was confused, and he began to rape her. “I just froze. It was very quick but it felt like forever,” she said, per BBC. She also told the court that Diddy sexually assaulted her sporadically throughout her time working for him.
