Two Women Sentenced To 25 Years After Helping A Young Man Kill A Teenager With A Sword For Having Sex With His Ex-Girlfriend
Two women, Christie Parisien, 20, and Jaslyn Smith, 19, have plead guilty and have been sentenced to 25 years in prison for helping a man with a 2021 murder.
Back in 2021, Parisien assisted in setting Dwight Grant, 18, up by leading him into an apartment stairwell, per Miami Herald.
Andre Clements, 17 at the time and also the lead defendant in the case, attacked him along with Smith. Clements grabbed a sword and stabbed Grant in the neck, telling him – “you know I have to kill you now.” The gruesome incident lasted for 31 minutes, also stabbing him in the chest.

After murdering the teenager, the trio then took Grants body and dumped it over a railing near the apartments.
The surprising motive behind the murder was that Grant slept with Clements ex-girlfriend. He then recruited the young Florida women, according to authorities. Both women have plead guilty to second-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and tampering with evidence.
Grant’s mother, Madge Emile, reacted to the situation in court according to WSVN; “I’ll never have a grandchild. All I could think of is that day, the way my son is. I will never see him grow up, how old he would be.”
“We always had this tradition that, when we were going to bed, he would say, ‘Good night, Mom.’ I would say, ‘Good night, see you in the morning, I love you.’ I’ll never hear my son say he loves me,” she added.
