Summer Walker Uses A Voicemail From Lil Meech While Teasing Her New Album

We haven’t heard much from Summer Walker in a while now and it appears she’s been busy cooking up her highly anticipated third studio album. The good news for fans is that she’s now teasing the new project.

The songstress initially teased the project last week by revealing the album has a three-word title. She listed the titles of her previous LP’s, ‘Over It’ and ‘Still Over It.’

Well, the R&B star took back to Instagram today (October 11), to officially tease her incoming album titled ‘Finally Over It’. Although she didn’t reveal the release date yet, she revealed a new single, “Heart Of A Woman,” is on the way.

The 28-year-old can be seen in the teaser video chilling in her bedroom, listening to voicemails on her phone. And the dramatic part is the message from her ex Lil Meech, which says:

“Damn, you gotta do me like that? I was just helping my cousin with groceries. Hit me back when you can talk. I know you’re finally over it, but damn, let’s talk about it, I love you.”

The singer then appears overwhelmed as she smashes the drink she’s holding. “Call me before I change my number 4044766404 & presave Heart of A Woman now!” she wrote in the caption.

The voicemail is from when Meech got caught cheating while the two were still dating back in August 2023, he was seen in a ring recording of a nearby neighbor entering an apartment with a female. “Damn, I can’t help my cousin bring the bags in the house. Went to the grocery store man” he said trying to defend himself.

Summer addressed the situation at the time saying, “Tried my best to be Jayda Wayda but I couldn’t. It was cute though.” She then confirmed their split saying, “I wish him the best.. Can’t do that cheating stuff.”
