After a successful rap and movie career, T.I. decided to dive into something different in the entertainment scene by joining the stand up comedy industry. But the legendary entertainer is now done performing and calling it quits.

The self acclaimed ‘King of the South’ says after this year he’s hanging up his performing shoes and retiring from hitting the stage.

During a recent discussion with fellow Atlanta rap Legend Young Dro on 96.1 The Beat, T.I. says after he performs at the station’s annual Jingle Ball festival, he’s officially done with it because he doesn’t need the money.

“I appreciate y’all for offering me my last working gig because I do not need the money anymore and I will not be performing. I don’t want to do it anymore,” the 44-year-old revealed. “I don’t want people to pay me to hop around and sweat for their entertainment anymore.”

This is coming two weeks after him and Tiny scored a major win in the courts after they were awarded $71 million from MGA Entertainment. With all that cash, Tip literally never has to touch a microphone again if he doesn’t want to.

The couple won their third court trial against toy giant MGA Entertainment, which was accused of violating the intellectual property rights of the couple’s music group the OMG Girlz with their L.O.L. Surprise! O.M.G. dolls.

In a statement to E! News, their lawyer said: “We were proud to represent the OMG Girlz, Tiny, and T.I. who had the courage to stand up for themselves and fight a billion-dollar corporation’s intimidation and insults with grace, perseverance, and a determination to protect their intellectual property and the rights of other creatives.”

“A remarkable jury did the fair, just and right thing by holding MGA Entertainment fully accountable for trade dress infringement and for misappropriation of name, likeness, and identity,” the statement added.
