Lamar Odom Ordered To Vacate LA Mansion For Owing $45K In Rent

Lamar Odom has reportedly been evicted from his mansion in California. The Los Angeles mansion was rented back in December, but the former basketball power forward failed to make a single payment.

The 45-year-old was expected to pay $15,000 per month based on the lease agreement. However, Executive Recovery Group Inc., the sublessor of the mansion, realized he was missing payments.

After the NBA star missed three payments, worth $45,000, the company had to go the legal route. They nullified the lease agreement in March and Odom has been evicted from the premises. Lamar’s current location and whereabouts are unknown.

Folks online have since been reacting to the reports. “Bro. None of the nba homies can look out? 50k is like toilet tissue for them,” someone commented. “Why the f*ck would you stay in there if you not making that much money any more?” another person wondered.

The former Los Angeles Lakers’ personal life started going downhill ever since he left the Lakers in 2011. He joined the Dallas Mavericks, but things was never the same. Odom retired in 2013 at the age of 33, and his life’s trajectory changed drastically.

Odom went from being an NBA champion in 2010 to drug abuse leading to almost overdosing in 2015. His marriage to Khloe Kardashian had also hit the rock at the time.

Lamar had a near-death experience that inadvertently postponed the divorce, but it was only a matter of time  before they eventually went their separate ways.

The former baller suffered 12 strokes and six heart attacks before he found his way to recovery. Over the last few years, Lamar has dedicated his time to helping people overcome addiction, per HotNewHipHop.
