Kid Cudi took the stand in the ongoing Diddy criminal trial, and his witness testimony on Thursday (May 22) follows that of his ex girlfriend Cassie Ventura last week. The rapper confirmed some of the speculations already made and also shared new things.

According to the Inner City Press’ Matthew Russell Lee on Twitter, Cudi, real name Scott Ramon Seguro Mescud, recalled an alleged home break-in from Sean Combs in the court.

The Cleveland rapper claims he and Cassie stared dating in 2011 when she had problems with Diddy that led to a break. The singer reportedly called Cudi at around 6AM saying that the Bad Boy mogul had found out about them and asked Cudi to pick her up out of worry.

The two then went to the Sunset Marquis. However, Capricorn Clark told Scott that Diddy was near his car at his house. The 41-year-old then called Sean, who allegedly said he was waiting for him.

Upon arriving at his house later, Cudi noticed someone had moved the security cameras, which weren’t working. He then found some open gifts when he went inside, and his dog locked in the bathroom.

The “Day ‘n’ Nite” hitmaker claimed his dog was “jittery [and] on edge all the time” after this alleged incident. He called Sean again because he wanted to fight him, and he allegedly answered and said he was on his way.

The rapper and fashion designer also alleged Cassie was “depressed” due to the Diddy drama and “needed” a visit from him in Connecticut. Not long after, Cudi and Cassie allegedly broke up.

Cudi added that on another occasion, his dog’s babysitter called him to tell him that his car was on fire. The rapper who was at a relative of an ex-girlfriend’s house then went to his house to find his burnt Porsche, which he identified in pictures shown during court.

Scott believes  this was intentional. He and Diddy later buried the hatchet, but Sean did not take responsibility for the alleged car fire.
