Kendrick Lamar recently unveiled the music video for his latest single “Luther,” featuring SZA. The captivating visuals directed by Karena Evans, exceeds typical music video boundaries.

The music video offers viewers an intimate exploration of romance and emotional connection that resonates on multiple levels.

“Luther” video is making an impressive numbers on YouTube, raking in millions of views in just 24 hours of its release. However, there seems to be some controversy surrounding the views. There are claims that the numbers were ran up by bots.

A TikToker who goes by @phinesse._ shared a video on the platform, explaining how the numbers are fake, alleging that Kendrick Lamar used bots to boost the views and comments. The video has amassed over 1.7 million views within 5 hours at the time the TikToker made the video.

He asks people to go through the comments on YouTube and that they’ll see a bunch of names that doesn’t make sense. “Look when they joined YouTube.. they joined 4 hours ago.. I’m sorry the music video just dropped 5 hours ago,” he said.

Phinesse then pointed out some similar names that joined YouTube few hours after the video dropped. “I know this isn’t a coincidence,” he said before comparing Drake’s “Nokia” visuals comment section to that of Lamar’s “Luther.”

The content creator however clarifies that there are lot of real people in “Luther” comment section, but there are also lots of bots comments. “Kendrick I f*ck with you, but you gotta stop with the fake numbers just to get ahead of Drake,” he added.

Netizens have since been reacting to his observation, causing a debate amongst fans of both artists. “I wonder how he actually feels , seeing as he prides himself in being Mr authentic,” someone commented.

“He will have to use bots for the rest of his life. Ruined his career. Hit his peak. Only down from here. Great werk,” another person wrote. “I checked myself this is insane k-dot going out sad,” someone else added.
