Drake Announces Collab Album With PartyNextDoor Set To Be Released This Fall

Drake has been silent for the past few months since he took the ‘L’ during the intense beef with Kendrick Lamar. He’s been featured on couple songs after the feud, but they didn’t bang like they should.

Apparently, the Canadian superstar is looking to make a major comeback by joining forces with his signee PartyNextDoor.

Drake has announced a collaborative album with PartyNextDoor which is speculated to drop this fall. He made an appearance at PartyNextDoor’s Party and Friends show in Toronto tonight, waiting until the end of his performance to share news that the joint album would arrive this fall.

“I know all you girls are outside and when it gets a little chilly, PartyNextDoor and Drake album will be right there for you,” Drizzy announced, insinuating that the heat had to die down for him to put out the record this autumn.

At the show, the ‘6 God’ performed “Sweeterman,” which leaked as a snippet back in 2015 but was never fully released. He also thrilled fans by performing “Finesse” and “Redemption,” and his 2016 collab “Come and See Me” with PartyNextDoor.

He then teamed up with Roy Woods to perform “Drama,” and for fans who are up to date, Drizzy also gave a rendition of his Plain White T’s cover “Wah Gwan Delilah.”

Drake signed PND to OVO in 2013, and the two have been making amazing music together ever since. That same year, the singer dropped his self-titled debut. It’s safe to say Drizzy often use PartyNextDoor to harness the R&B side of his persona.

They have joined forces on on classics like “Come and See Me” (2016), “Since Way Back” (2017) and “LOYAL” (2019). The R&B star also stole the show with a pair of standout appearances on Drake’s iconic If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late (2015).
