Baltimore Man Arrested For Sexually Abusing A 16-Year-Old Boy & His Younger Brother Whom He Employed At His Trash Hauling Company
A 55-year-old Baltimore man named Joshua Duerk has been charged with sexual abuse of a minor and third and fourth-degree sex offenses after he allegedly sexually abused a 16 year old boy and his younger brother.
According to CBS News, the 16 year old male was an employee at Joshua’s trash hauling business and had Duerk had known the teen and his family for nearly a decade.
The man reportedly first met the teen and his three other brothers when they were younger running a lemonade stand. It’s gathered that the brothers often spend the night at Joshua’s house before their shifts but one night Duerk did the unthinkable.

The teen alleged they were watching movies in Duerk bed before falling asleep and awoke to Joshua sexually assaulting him, according to police reports.
The 55-year-old then allegedly gave the teen a $20 gift card before dropping him off at home the following morning. After the family was notified of this they quickly filed a police report that included more shocking claims.
It was also discovered that this is not his first time doing this, according to the report Joshua also had sexually assaulted the teen’s younger brother and apparently him and the child agreed on a $200 gift card for him to “call it even”.
Joshua turned himself in after a warrant was issued for him and he’s been released on a $100,000 bond. His attorney released a statement claiming he is fully compliant and denying all allegations.
“My client has been fully cooperative with this investigation from the very beginning. It is important to remember that the presumption of innocence is a foundational component of our criminal justice system,” his attorney said in a statement.
