Unused Artwork For Drake’s ‘Certified Lover Boy’ Causes Stir

Yesterday, Drake made a surprise move by sharing 100 gigabytes of unreleased content, which includes three old songs, lots of behind-the-scenes content, and more.

The huge dump of files features previously unseen glimpses into the Candadian superstar’s lifestyle, recording sessions, and on-stage footage.

There are unreleased songs from Drizzy’s ‘Certified Lover Boy’ era, recording sessions with Noah “40” Shebib back from his temple fade haircut era, footage of the rapper recording what appears to be a reference track to Ye’s 2018 song, “Yikes,” and even a footage of him and Rihanna rehearsing ‘Take Care’ together.

The never before seen content also includes the unused artworks of his 6th studio album ‘Certified Lover Boy’.

The selected cover art is puerile and the strangest in the rapper’s discography. It features the conception of 12 pregnant women emoji placed on a stark white background. However, it appears the unused ones are even more controversial.

A particular graphic cover art that wasn’t used is currently making rounds online. The artwork shows a bunch of n*de women playing musical instruments, while others are in seen making rated poses.

“THANK GOD it was unused,” someone commented. “Yeah he never beatin the allegations lol,” another person wrote. “Freaky a** nigha he a 69 gad,” someone else added, quoting Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Not Like Us’ lyrics.

Upon release, CLB was met with mixed reactions from fans and music critics, most of whom felt it was comparable to Drake’s other releases and highlighted its structure, but criticized the level of lyrical insight and the production’s lack of sonic variety.
