Elliott Wilson Reveals Drake & Future Have Squashed Their Beef
This year has been a heated and dramatic one for Hip Hop fans, many of whom witnessed one rap’s best duos go at it! Earlier this year, Drake and Future fell off in a twist of event after over a decade of collaborating and being good friends.
Well, the good news is that Drizzy and Pluto are no longer feuding after privately burying the hatchet, according to Elliott Wilson.
According to Wilson on the latest episode of ‘The Bigger Picture’, Drake and Future recently squashed their beef over the phone. “I have it on good authority that Drake and Future have at least gotten on the phone and resolved their differences,” Wilson said.

The former XXL editor-in-chief believes that Young Thug‘s recent social media post in which he urged Drake, Future and Metro Boomin to make amends influenced the truce.
“@Drake @1future @MetroBoomin we all bruddas. Music aint the same without us collabin,” Young Thug previously wrote on X (formerly Twitter) in October, prior to his release from jail after agreeing a plea deal in his long-running YSL RICO case.
“I think that helped the energy when Future reposted it,” the veteran Hip Hop journalist said. Although Metro was mentioned in Thug’s tweet, him and the Canadian superstar are yet to settle their differences.
“There’s no trust there still with Metro, but I do believe that Drake and Future are back on the same page,” Wilson shared.
The ‘What a Time to Be Alive’ collaborators unarguably have so much history. “Drake was the one saying, ‘We never really went through it.’ [Future] got the lightest of all the taps in the one v. 20, so it makes sense in some capacity,” he concluded.
