Yung Miami is currently facing backlash for throwing her son Jai, a nightclub-themed party for his 11th birthday party. Clips from the party has since been making rounds online, garnering mixed reactions from netizens.

Over the weekend, the former City Girls’ rapper shared video from her son’s nightclub celebration on her Instagram account.

Miami shared Jai’s invitation on her Insta story, which looked like a club flyer. The card has the date and time information and the deejay’s name, while the photo of Jai dressed is seen in the middle of the invite.

The young boy’s birthday party had a small stage, colorful strobe lights, and a dance floor, with the inclusion of a booth for custom airbrushed t-shirts and a station for drinks for guests above 21.

A clip from Jai’s Club E11even bash showed party guests tossing hundreds of white napkins into the air.

However, there have been mixed reactions to the party, considering the boy’s age. While some praised her willingness to fulfill his wishes, others were critical and deemed it inappropriate.

“Grooming your kids for club culture at age 11 is wild,” someone commented on The Shade Room’s post. “Club theme ain’t the issue, mimicking an adult club is. Promoting alcoholism is. Our teen clubs consisted of dancing and a Dj,” another person wrote.

“Can we please not make this a thing. It’s weird what happened to Batman? Superman?” someone else queried.

Following the criticisms under TSR post, Yung Miami slid into the comment section to clear the haters. “Next post y’all will be saying yall didn’t know I had kids,” the mother of two wrote.

“My baby growing up this is what he wanted and that’s what he got!! & he had a blast.. thank ya,” she added.

Caresha shares her son with her ex boyfriend, Jai Wiggins, who passed away in 2020. The rapper is also mother to a daughter, Summer Miami, whom she had with producer Southside.
