Young Thug Seemingly Disses Gunna On New Single With Future “Money On Money”

Young Thug is gearing up for the release of his comeback album UY SCUTI which is scheduled to drop next month. The rapper who recently gained his freedom has now dropped a new single ahead of his upcoming project.

Thugger features Future in the new song titled “Money On Money”. According to reports from HotNewHipHop, he’s marking the end of an era with this rollout.

Fans were quick to notice that the song wasn’t dropped under YSL Records, but rather Atlantic Records at large. This has now sparked debate whether YSL has been dissolved or not following the RICO case. This could also be as a result of technicalities issues.

Another thing fans noticed is that Young Thug seems to diss Gunna on the song. The feud between the two remains kind of murky and unfulfilled at press time. However, the new diss appears to have confirmed that there’s some sort of animosity between them.

“These f*ck n*ggas telling for nothing and I got to be the one calling them friend,” the 33-year-old rapped on “Money On Money.” Also, Slime and Future make various references to rats and friends-turned-cops in their verses, which folks might also interpret as possible Gunna shade.

“He Gotta Stop W/ All Da Loose Gunna Hate Nigga EVERYBODY FOLDED,” someone commented. “Damn everybody turning on each other yall some frogs bro,” another person wrote.

Gunna received a lot of backlash after video of his plea deal surfaced online. He was ousted as a snitch and heavily criticized. It’s however noteworthy that Young Thug requested to be allowed to work with him in his probation negotiation, as well as with Thug’s brother Unfoonk.

He also took a plea deal, although neither deal in either case necessarily suggests cooperation as far as providing information that hurt the YSL RICO’s defense.
