Woman Donates Her Kidney To Her Uncle Who Was Diagnosed With Stage 5 Kidney Disease

A woman is going viral after sharing her uncle’s reaction to her donating him a kidney after he was diagnosed with stage 5 kidney disease.

The TikTok video which has since gone viral detailed the situation of her Uncle’s condition and is epic reaction to finding out she’s donating him a kidney.

According to the woman who goes by Emerald Marie, her uncle, Calvin, was on the kidney transplant list, but had no luck for a match. So she flew between New York and Los Angeles every month to test for eligibility.

Eventually, she found out they were a match and she was medically cleared. Marie also added a photo she took with her uncle on the surgery day to the TikTok clip.

“You’re Mr. Brand New now.. you know,” she joked after the completion of the surgery. “Mr. Brand New, brand spanking new,” he replied.

“I’m glad you’re okay,” the woman said. “I’m good, I feel like jogging baby,” her uncle replied. “You’re a blessed man,” she continued. “Yeah, I don’t know what I did to deserve that… Emerald’s a blessing, I tell y’all,” he said.

“God makes a way.. You’re a good man,” she responded as the clip cuts out.

The TikTok video is now making rounds on social media, garnering lots of reactions from netizens. It was reposted by The Neighborhood Talk and Emerald slid into the comments to thank everyone for their wishes.

“Whew! Thank you so much for sharing our story. Uncle Calvin and I are so thankful for all the love and support flowing in so quickly.  Took a lot to share this vulnerable moment foreal,” she penned.
