Yesterdays, Travis Scott made controversial headlines after he was arrested in Paris following a fight with his own bodyguard at a hotel. Just in, the rapper has been released from prison in Paris.

According to TMZ, the ‘Utopia’ crooner won’t be facing any charges related to the incident.

“Travis Scott has been released with no charges,” a representative for the rapper told the publication, adding that therewere no injuries to any other party including his security.

Travis was arrested him on Friday around 5:00 AM at the George V Hotel and the incident took place just a few hours after the basketball game between Team USA and Serbia. He was there to watch his country win, but unfortunately, things did not go as planned as he got into a fight with his own bodyguard.

In a statement obtained by People, the Paris prosecutor’s officer said: “I can confirm that on August 9, 2024, shortly after 5 a.m., the police were called to the Georges V Hotel and arrested the man nicknamed Travis Scott for assaulting a security guard.”

“The latter had himself intervened to separate the rapper from his bodyguard. The 1st judicial police district was seized of the investigation by the Paris prosecutor’s office.”

The fight was captured on camera and has subsequently been going viral on social media. The rapper wasn’t questioned about what happened due to his inebriated state during the arrest.
