Video Of Soulja Boy Performing In Front Of 15-20 Fans Goes Viral

Soulja Boy has really fallen off and it’s sad to watch. The rapper whose real name is DeAndre Cortez Way, used to be one of the most sought after rappers in the 2000s, now he’s struggling to sell out shows.

The Chicago born rapper rose to prominence with his self-released 2007 debut single, “Crank That (Soulja Boy)”, which peaked atop the Billboard Hot 100 for seven non-consecutive weeks.

Many people believe the rapper’s rise to fame was quick and exciting, some think it happened too fast, and as a result of his instantaneous fame, he became awfully arrogant, making his fall off fast and embarrassingly painful.

Akademiks recently shared a clip of Soulja Boy performing in front of 15-20 fans. In the clip, the 34-year-old rapper can be seen performing for empty seats, with just few people in the front row. Following the negative comments that ensued, Ak was forced to take down the post.

Notwithstanding, the clip was shared by others and has since gone viral on social media garnering lots of reactions from netizens. “I’ve seen more people at a gas station,” someone commented. “ngl the people who show up to a soulja boy concert are the real clowns,” another person wrote.

“Soulja Boy still brings the energy, crowd size doesn’t matter. His music is iconic,” someone else argued.

The rapper recently made headlines after he challenged DDG to a boxing match in defense of Halle Bailey. After a back and forth between the two, Soulja Boy then proposed they stop tweeting and get in the ring for a boxing match.

“You know how to fight, right? You a boxer, right? Let’s get in the f**king ring b***h a** n***a. I’ll beat your b***h a**,” he barked. “Putting your hands on the Little Mermaid, n***a? F**k you and your whole family.”

There are also speculations that Drake could be the one to cough up the money to fund the boxing match between the two. In a live broadcast, Adin Ross proposed that Drake be the financial backer of the fight, per HipHopDX.
