Sexyy Red Denies Canceling Tour Over Low Ticket Sales Amid Sabotage Attempts
Sexyy Red Denies Tour Is Failing To Sell Tickets Despite Sabotage Attempts
Sexyy Red announced her second headlining tour last month and it is set to begin in August. “It’s the Mf Hood Hottest princess Sexyy MF Red!!! And I’m kicking off my campaign tour ‘Sexyy Red 4 President!” she wrote on social media at the time.
“WE POPPING OUT AND TURNING TF UP!” the St. Louis native added, promoting her tongue-in-cheek presidential-themed tour.
However, few days ago, rumors started circulating that the ‘Pound Town’ hitmaker is on the verge of canceling her ‘Sexyy Red 4 President’ tour due to low ticket sales. The report was shared by popular blog page Daily Loud and it quickly spread across social media platforms.
“Sexyy Red’s upcoming tour is reportedly on the verge of being cancelled. After only 37% of the tickets have been sold,” the page wrote. Some people blame it on the type of fans she has: ‘All her fans broke chicks that depend on child support… she shoulda planned her tour around tax season,’” they added.

The “Get It Sexyy” crooner has now denied the reports. Taking to X, formerly Twitter, Sexyy quoted a tweet from ‘The Art Of Dialogue’ on the report of her supposed low ticket sales, saying: “My fans are buying tickets we’re doin just fine we not cancelling no tour dis cancelling sht all cap.”
According to the rapper, her decision to use an independent Black-owned tour company had left a sour taste in the mouths of larger companies, who she believes are now using underhanded tactics in an attempt to derail her tour.
She continued, “Dis how Dey try to do u wen u go wit an independent promoter n the bigger companies try to sabotage u we not cancelling sht.”
“I did my touring deal with a black promoter black owned company AG Entertainment and now Dey playin dirty paying pages spreading fake news to discourage my fans from buying tickets,” Red added.
