Earlier this week, reports circulated that Sada Baby, real name Casada Sorrell, was arrested after a routine traffic stop from January turned into a felony drug case.

We earlier reported that the 32-year-old Detroit rapper was pulled over by police in Sterling Heights around 4 a.m. on Jan. 9 due to illegal window tint.

Record check revealed that Sorrell had an outstanding warrant for driving without a license, something he hadn’t had for three years and was arrested at the scene. It was reported that officers found suspected drugs in the vehicle which lab results recently confirmed the substance was narcotics.

Just in, Sada Baby is now setting the record straight and shutting down claims that the drug was cocaine. The rapper was a guest today on Politely Raw with Pacman Jones on BetOnline where he spoke for the first time about his arrest and what really happened.

When asked about reports circulating that his recent arrest stemmed from an incident where cops pulled him over and found a substance that they believe was cocaine, Sada Baby immediately called “cap” on it, insinuating that the report is false.

“Cap.. it was percocets.. 10 of them.. Super cap,” the “Pressin” hitmaker said before confirming he was indeed pulled over. “I got pulled over for a warrant for driving without a license while I was driving with a license.”

He also took time out to appreciate his fans that have been showing support to him following the incident. “I appreciate everybody. You know anybody who got a brain can pay attention to me getting targeted for me living where I’m living, for me doing what I’m doing. A lot of street officers are too lazy to just type my name in Google and see what I actually am to think that I will be selling dope to live in a house as big as I live in.. as far as I live outside of the city.”

He continued, “I know God got me. I ain’t never played with my nose in my life, and we know what people look like, what they do, when they do play with their nose. I ain’t never had no cocaine on me, never had no heroin on me or none of that. It was percs.”

“They just mad that my lawyer is a great lawyer and he got it dropped down to a $200 fine, so they put an entry warning on me and I can’t do nothing about it. I’m glad I got it over with. We’re going to go to court and I’mma keep praying and we’re going to win again,” the rapper added.
