While Russell Simmons is having a nice time in west-bubba, his attention is needed back in the country following new court documents that shows he owes $3M to 3 women, including one of his sexual assault accusers.

The entrepreneur and writer agreed to pay the money as part of a settlement agreement the women entered with him in 2023.

According to Variety, the 66-year-old agreed to pay each woman substantial sums “for claimant’s alleged personal, physical injuries and sickness,” by Oct. 1. But according to the documents, he has failed to pay.”

Back in 2023, Simmons provided the confessions of judgment to the plaintiffs, as part of the settlement. In the event of a default, they give the plaintiffs an expedited means to obtain judgments in New York state court and to begin the collections process.

Following his refusal to pay, the women can submit paperwork to a judge to begin other collection methods including taking his house, cars, etc. While Simmons never admitted to any wrongdoing, he pledged to pay $1,265,000 each to Sil Lai Abrams and Sherri Abernathy, and $515,000 to Wendy Carolina Franco.

There are currently no words from the legal representatives for both the women and Simmons on the situation.

More than 20 women have accused Simmons of sexual assault in the past decade. He admitted that he’s been in compromising positions and has taken 9 lie detector tests in an attempt to prove his innocence.

Russell is currently in Bali enjoying his time and there’s no assurance if he’ll return.
