Rapper DemonChild E3 Shot & Killed At A Barbershop After Making A Diss Song

Rapper DemonChild e3 from Crawford st 400 was killed and another was injured in an afternoon shooting inside a barbershop on Labor Day in Dorchester.

Authorities responded before 1 p.m. to the area of Erie Street and Washington Street for a report of two people shot, Boston police Deputy Supt. Paul McLaughlin said.

According to CBS News, the shooting happened inside Exclusive Barbershop and Salon. Both men were rushed to the hospital, where one of the men, E3, died. Per the police, the other man’s injuries were not fatal. This incident makes the second deadly shooting on Washington Street in the last week.

Apparently, DemonChild E3 and the other victim were customers at a barbershop. McLaughlin said at this point in the investigation, police do not believe the shooting was a random event.

Words on the street is that E3 got caught lackin at the barbershop after he made a diss song aimed at his opps. The rapper dropped the diss track titled ‘4 Double O’ last year, where he went hard on his opps. Moments after his death, the comments section of the song’s visuals on YouTube have been filled with fans linking the lyrics to the shooting.

Reiner Thompson, one of the victim’s grandfathers, was told the news by his wife. “He got shot in the head; his grandmother said he got shot in the head,” Thompson said.

According to Thompson, he spoke to his grandson just last week about getting him into a construction work program, and said he has a message to young people in the community.

“I’m mad. You’ve got to be a leader, not a follower to all the young people. Don’t follow all the gangs, bad company. Get you a job, make your mothers and fathers proud,” he said. No arrests have been announced. Police are looking for video evidence and are asking anyone with information to contact them.
