Blockstar, one of the men involved in Pop Smoke’s murder was released last month after serving a four-year juvenile sentence for his guilty plea in the rapper’s case.

Blockstar, real name King Vermont Raskel, was one of four people charged in the rapper’s murder. Three of the defendants were minors when the unfortunate incident happened.

The trio settled their cases at the time and were sentenced as juveniles. Corey Walker, the only defendant charged as an adult, is awaiting trial. Blockstar on the other hand, has been making controversial headlines since his release.

As we previously reported, the 21-year-old had his first interview with Adam22 on ‘No Jumper’ podcast. This sparked a lot of outrage amongst fans of the deceased rapper, and Adam22 has since been getting dragged for giving the rapper’s killer a platform.

What’s even more disturbing is that Blockstar doesn’t feel remorse over the incident. During the interview, he said he is not sorry and doesn’t regret his actions. “I’m not sorry about nothing. It should’ve never happened, but I ain’t sorry,” he said.

“If I could go back, I’ll go back. But I ain’t sorry. N*ggas die every day. [Pop Smoke] was rapping about it. All type of sh*t,” he continued. “So, I ain’t sorry about it. I send my condolences to the family. I wish it never happened. But … I don’t regret nothing.”

“Growing up, I just—my people, my family told me, ‘You ain’t sorry for sh*t.’ Whatever you did, you did it for a reason and stand on it,” Blockstar added.

During the same interview, he revealed that contrary to popular belief, Pop Smoke’s incident was a regular robbery and not a setup. “Nobody sent us, nobody did none of that. That’s all false information,” he said.
