Playboi Carti Accuses Kanye West Of Stealing His Song With NBA YoungBoy
Playboi Carti Calls Out Kanye West For Sampling & Stealing His Song With NBA YoungBoy

Kanye West has been targeting Playboi Carti, saying some negative things about the rapper’s music for some time now. Carti at a point stood up to Ye and put him in place by telling him to “stfu.”

Yesterday, Ye surprised fans with a new release featuring NBA YoungBoy. The “Donda” rapper shared the new song on his Instagram page.

Although the song is not out on streaming services, but it can be listened to on the rapper’s page. The song titled “Alive” contains DJ Swamp Izzo vocal samples from the Playboi Carti song “Crank,” a track off of Carti’s most recent album, I AM MUSIC.

We can’t tell for sure if Ye will eventually drop this song on streaming platforms. But it’s most likely gonna be used for YZY SZN 10, which means we could be hearing a lot more of it in the not-so-distant future.

After first listening, fans thought this was authorized by Carti and that it was a peace offering. Though the two have had some back and forth, there were reports that they had squashed it. But it turns out that the animosity is still strong.

Playboi Carti recently took to his Opium Instagram account to call out Kanye West. “DIS MY SONG LIL BRA @ye,” the 29-year-old wrote in the caption of a music video.

Also, the music video appears to be the original song and one can hear the track which features NBA YoungBoy’s vocals at the beginning. Later on, we get hit with an exceptionally deep Carti flow.

“I cant believe ye rage baited carti into actually dropping smh,” a fan commented. “I rocked w Ye through everything. But If it’s Ye vs Carti, l’m team Carti,” another person wrote.
