Philly Rapper Accused Of Sexual Assault Arrested After Calling Police To Question Why They Put His Face On The News

Philadelphia rapper Crowley Geez, whose real name is Harron DeJesus, made controversial headlines this week after posting an Instagram video denying police accusations linking him to a sexual assault case.

It all started when police released a photo and vehicle description identifying DeJesus as a suspect in a March 8 sexual assault on Old York Road.

At the time, police described DeJesus as a man with face tattoos and long dreadlocks. The authorities also said that the culprit is about 5’8″ and weigh about 180 pounds.

After the report went viral, DeJesus called the police questioning why his face was on the news and denying the allegations. The officer on the call encouraged him to come in for questioning, but the conversation escalated, with both sides becoming confrontational.

However, couple days later, the rapper was arrested by Philadelphia police after being labeled armed and dangerous. The authorities also believe he was driving a gray Toyota Scion at the time of the incident.

Netizens have since been reacting to the update, wondering why DeJesus would call the police and get himself arrested. “A prayer ain’t goin change nothing for niggas like this, just continue to stay save out here man,” someone commented.
