Pastor Keion Henderson & Wife Shaunie Henderson Came Out Dancing To Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Not Like Us’

The church seems to have caught the vibe too. Pastor Keion Henderson and First Lady Shaunie Henderson, are going viral after coming out vibing to Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Not Like Us’.

During their recent program, the couple wowed fans when they came out with the viral diss track playing in the background. Shaunie even took out time to show off some moves.

The clip has since gone viral on social media, garnering mixed reactions from folks online, most especially Christians who think it’s inappropriate for them to have come out to a worldly song.

“These false prophets keep showing how they play with GOD and many of y’all keep JUSTIFYING THIS FOOLERY,” an unimpressed person commented. “Secular music in a church is weird. I was raised different,” another person wrote.

As we previously reported, Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason, Jr., has now confirmed that ‘Not Like Us’ is eligible for the Grammys, adding to the buzz surrounding the track’s success.

Shaunie recently reflected on her first marriage to former Los Angeles Lakers star, Shaquille O’Neal. They were together for almost a decade before divorcing in 2011. According to her, O’Neal’s wandering eye and promiscuity played a big part in their separation.

Couple weeks ago, the 49-year-old revealed during an interview with ABC News that that it was the love of her late father that gave her the courage to exit her marriage. “I loved love, right, and I still love love, and my dad kind of instilled in me this safety, like the man in your life, your partner, is supposed to make you feel safe,” she said.

The mother of five also made controversial headlines when an excerpt from her book, the memoir “Undefeated: Changing the Rules and Winning on My Own Terms,” where she questioned if she ever really loved O’Neal, began to circulate. According to her, the passage was taken out of context.
