Nurse Arrested For Leaving Her Sickly Infant Inside Her Running Car While She Gambled At The Casino

An Oklahoma nurse, Dacie Yeager, has been arrested and charged with child neglect after she was caught leaving her sickly infant inside her running car while she went inside a casino to gamble.

Officers from the Catoosa Police department arrived at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino after someone called them about a baby inside a car by himself.

Dacie then frantically showed up outside to greet the officers and check on her baby. She initially told police that she had only been inside for 20 minutes because she was allegedly looking for her baby daddy inside.

However, police investigated and discovered that Yeager was actually inside the casino for a whole 5 hours, while her baby, who is on a feeding tube, sat alone in the running car, per News9.

The nurse was seen on surveillance footage arriving around 9:30 a.m. at the casino, and didn’t walk out to check on the child until 3 p.m. Authorities also found out that she lied about trying to find her child’s father.

Yeager was confirmed to be inside the casino gambling her life away as her baby sat in the car unattended. She was arrested and charged with child neglect. The baby was taken into child protective services.

“The casino is one of the most surveillance places ever you can’t lie they know when vou pulled in & vour every move and the time frames,” someone commented.

“People need to stop having kids they don’t want! This all could’ve been avoided,” another person wrote. “Imagine how many times she did this,” someone else added.
