It’s widely believed that former talk show host, Montel Williams, dated Kamala Harris back in the days. However, a week to the upcoming election and controversy surrounding their supposed previous affair is now circulating online.

Rumors about Vice President Kamala Harris and Montel Williams having a sex tape is now making rounds on social media, garnering tons of traction.

It all started when Right-wing influencer, Matt Wallace, took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to allege that a supposed “sex tape” involving the Democratic presidential candidate and Williams was being “shopped around” and could “break the internet.”

According to Wallace, the alleged tape could harm Harris’s campaign just days before the election. “Wow, I was just informed by my friend, who is the CEO of a large tech company, that there is allegedly a sex tape being shopped around involving Kamala Harris and Montel Williams,” he wrote in the viral tweet.

The tweet quickly gained traction, attracting millions of views and sparking debate online. But Montel Williams wasted no time in responding to the rumors, delivering a calm yet pointed response that quickly set the record straight.

“Wow, I hear a blogger I’ve never heard of got millions of views claiming someone is ‘shopping’ a sex tape of me that will ‘break the internet,’” Williams tweeted. He went on to state plainly, “Let’s ‘break the internet’ w/ truth – there is no tape. Kamala Harris’s surge clearly has some people worried.”

Montel caught up with the wild and defamatory claim, and he wasted no time is shutting down the rumors. Although he and Kamala were once romantically linked in the early 2000s, there’s no evidence of any video as Wallace claimed.

“Wow, I hear a blogger I’ve never heard of got millions of views claiming someone is “shopping” a sex tape of me that will “break the internet,” Williams wrote in response. “Let’s “break the internet” w/ truth – there is no tape. @KamalaHQ’s surge clearly has some people worried,” he added.
