Megan Thee Stallion and GloRilla have been trending since they linked up on the recent episode of Instagram’s Close Friends Only podcast, which aired in full on Thursday (Aug. 15) following a teaser earlier in the week.

The two have become besties following their ‘Wanna Be’ collaboration and hitting the road together for Megan Thee Stallion’s Hot Girl Summer Tour earlier this year.

During the episode, Meg claimed her and Glo are the first female rappers from the South to make it mainstream. She made this claims while explaining her decision to add Glo to her tour lineup. “I wanted to go by myself being my first time going on my own tour. But I really like your music,” she began.

“I feel like we’re doing something very unique for the South. Like having big female rappers from the South. I feel like we’re really the first of our time that really like took off..” she continued.

“I was like I gotta bring up Glo. I gotta ask her if she wanna do it. ‘I feel like I’ll have a really good time with her. I really like her music and the people gotta see this sh*t… they gotta see the two biggest a**es.. the two biggest b**ties. Like we gotta put it in the same arena,” Meg added.

During the same episode, Meg revealed she tried to get some insights into Beyonce’s inner circle. “Beyoncé, if you have a Close Friends, could you please put me and Glo in it?” the Houston rapper requested with sincerity to which GloRilla quipped, “Please!”

Glo then revealed how she has Beyonce in her Close Friends list over which Megan joked, “Delulu.” “Shawty delusional as f***! I know she never gonna see it, but I got her in my Close Friends,” the FnF crooner responded with a laugh.

“I don’t know, talking about Beyoncé still make me nervous. Like Beyoncé is really, like, Beyoncé. Your mama named you Beyoncé ’cause she knew you were finna be that girl. She knew there was not gonna be another Beyoncé on the planet,” Meg said.
