Man Shoots & Kills His Ex-Wife And Her New Man In Their Sleep After A Nasty Divorce Battle

A 50-year-old man completely lost it on Wednesday night in Long Island where he killed his ex-wife and her new man in their million dollar home.

The man who goes by David Coppola, shot his way into the home of his ex and her new boo, Kelly Coppola, 50, and Kenneth Pohlman, 53 as they slept.

According to authorities, the incident happened around 11:45 p.m. Before David put his plan into action, killing his ex wife and her new man, he made his teenage daughter wait in the car.

“He leaves her in the car, goes behind the bush … and evidently he broke down the door, went up [and] did what he did — came back and told his daughter, “I killed your mother and Kenny.’ That’s what he told her,” Kenneth Pohlman Sr. told NYPost.

After David shot the couple in cold blood, he left the home with his daughter in shock. Following her growing concern, she reached out to friends which led to the police being alerted.

Detective Lt. Kevin Breyer said: “As he’s driving her, she is communicating with friends via text saying, ‘I don’t know what my father did. I don’t know how my mother is.’”

The man was arrested at his own home which was only a mile away. David was then placed under mental evaluation after making statements threatening his own life. He has however been hit with two counts of second degree murder.

The man‘s family believes that the crimes had something to do with the ex-couple’s divorce and referred to Coppola as an abusive “maniac”.
