Lil Woody Confesses He Tried To Assassinate Young Thug In 2015

Back in 2021, Kenneth Copeland, better known as Lil Woody, was placed behind bars after being caught with a loaded firearm in his car. Woody was asked to appear in Young Thug’s RICO trial with prosecutors hoping to get incriminating information him about Young Thug.

Well, in the ongoing RICO trial, Kenneth Copeland has denied having anything to do in the death of Donovan ‘Nut’ Thomas.

In the latest hearing, Woody admitted to repeatedly lying to the police to protect his own innocence. This was after he shockingly fired his lawyer while on the stand. He was also asked about his interactions with law enforcement on Nut’s death.

It was then that Woody revealed he was plotting on killing Young Thug in 2015. When asked if he was ever texted regarding not going to the police about Nut’s murder. Copeland replied saying: “I texted her and told her that I was going to kill Thug when I get the chance .. is this what you’re talking about?”

“No, but why did you text her that you was going to kill Thug when you get the chance?” the prosecutor queried. “Cause I let a lot of people get in my ear,” he replied. “And what did they get in your ear about?” the prosecutor asked.

“So lot of stuff.. people come to me every 5 minutes with something about.. not just Thug.. it was a lot of people, but mainly, most people used to come to me about Thug,” Woody said trying to dodge the question.

When asked what exactly he was told that made him want to kill Thug, Woody replied saying: “They watch him because everybody saying I kill Nut and they gon put it on me.. It was different people telling me stuff.”

The prosecutor wasn’t satisfied with the reply and pressed him further: “But to kill somebody.. what were they telling you that made you think you had to kill Thug?”

“That I got to watch him,” he replied, adding that, “Because they said I was messing up his career. I was pulling him in stuff that I got going on. They was saying all type of stuff.” “So why was you messing up his career mean you had to kill Thug?” the prosecutor questioned again.

“To save me.. a female came to me and told me that she heard something, and another person came to me and told me he heard something, so people kept coming to me. I was paranoid because I had a friend and whatever I said to him somehow got back out,” he explained.

“So let’s start there.. what did you tell your friend.. that you think got back to him?” prosecutor asked. “I was plotting on him..” he replied. “Why would you be plotting on Thug?” “I don’t recall..” Copeland answered as the grilling was getting him closer to saying more than he should.
