JT Reveals There Will Be No Features On Her Upcoming Album
JT has been doing pretty good since going solo. The former ‘City Girls’ rapper is gearing up for the release of her upcoming album ‘City Cinderella’, and recently appeared on KeKe Palmer’s ‘Baby! This Is KeKe Palmer’ podcast.
During the interview, the rapper whose real name is Jatavia Shakara Johnson, spoke on her upcoming album and revealed there will be no features on the project.
“City Cinderella is dropping very soon. I’m doing finishing touches now,” she revealed. “How many records are we getting, can you tell us that?” Keke asked. “It’s in a tenth,” she replied. “How many features if any,” Keke queried.
“It’s none,” Jatavia responded. “No features,” the host said surprised. “Okay JT, you’re giving us life story or you’re giving us fantasies?” Keke asked again. “I’m giving y’all everything,” the rapper replied.

During the same interview, the “Okay” hitmaker made it known that she was hurt over her online spat with ‘City Girls’ other half, Yung Miami.
“I did not want that to happen. When you get to the point of ego…it gets there. You forget to express yourself in a private setting, or you forget to talk like adults,” she explained.
JT continued, “It happened and it was stupid, and it’s done. It’s over with and now it’s funny to both of us. It’s hilarious to both of us. Now, it’s just a funny thing in time to us.”
“She should be able to tell her side or how she feel. Because we both were dead ass wrong. It wasn’t no right person in that situation, and I feel like that’s just something that we should talk about as adults,” she added.

Caresha revealed in a previous interview with complex that the two weren’t connecting and that the lack of commercial success for their RAW album was a contributing factor to their decision to go solo.
“But when we get together as a group, it just wasn’t connecting, it just wasn’t working no more. I think we were both at a point where it was just like, we should probably just do our own s**t,” she explained to Complex.
