Journalist Set To Interview Jay-Z’s Alleged Mistress Days Before She Died, Wants Him To Be Investigated In Connection To Her Death

Jay-Z has found himself trending after a journalist who was set to interview the rapper’s alleged mistress, is now asking the public to look into the strange circumstances surrounding her death in 2011.

Former Star Magazine journalist, Liz Crokin, was preparing to write a tell-all about Sean Carter’s alleged mistress, Cathy White, in August of 2011. At the time, Cathy had allegedly been caught creeping with the rapper and the rumors were spreading like wildfire.

The journalist claims Cathy initially told her that she didn’t know Jay-Z and had never partied with him, but after she confronted her with pictures of her, Jay-Z and Diddy at Tao nightclub in Las Vegas, Cathy then revealed she would consider going public with her story.

However, that story was never told. According to Liz, days after she tried to reach out to HOV’s alleged mistress, she was informed by her colleagues that she died.

The journalist says she strongly feels that White was murdered and believes she did not suffer a brain aneurism like her autopsy report said. “I found it highly suspicious that a seemingly healthy 28-year-old woman would drop dead from an aneurism,” she wrote.

She continued that sources came forward and told her that Cathy had revealed her plans to go public to Jay-Z about the alleged affair. The journalist added that days after she found out Cathy had died, Beyoncè announced her pregnancy with Blue Ivy at the 2011 VMAs.

“It would’ve been a PR nightmare for Beyonce and Jay Z if Cathy did a tell-all around the time they had crafted her over-the-top pregnancy announcement,” Liz said.

Liz also claims that news outlets during that time alleged that Claudia Jordan, who was a good friend of Cathy, was convinced an “A+ list rapper had her friend killed.”

“It’s only a matter of time before spirit cooking Jay Z is exposed like Diddy,” Liz posted to X, formerly Twitter. “I pray there will be justice for Cathy White one day,” she added.
