DJ Mustard, real name Dijon Isaiah McFarlane, had a very public and bitter divorce in 2022 after the ace producer walked out on his wife and children and started hanging around town with different IG models.
Dijon only paid $315,000 upon the divorce due to the iron-clad prenup they signed before getting married. Chanel is reportedly bitter about how things ended with her ex and she’s out for revenge. However, we can’t tell what exactly she’s cooking with Drake.
During an interview with Billboard, Dijon told the outlet that he had no clue whatsoever that the Compton native was releasing the song or even crafted it to be a Drake diss. “I heard the song when everyone else heard it. I never heard it before, I wasn’t in the studio with him,” he said.
The 34-year-old also claims it only took him 30 minutes to make the life-changing beat, which became the No. 1 song on the Hot 100 and has now amassed hundreds of millions of streams.
