Diddy Paid Hotel Guard $100k To Make Video Of Him Beating Cassie Disappear
Diddy Reportedly Paid $100K To Hotel Security Guard To Erase Video Of Him Beating Cassie

It has been revealed at the day 15 of Diddy’s sex trafficking trial that the rapper paid $100k in an attempt to make the video of him beating Cassie at the InterContinental hotel “disappear”.

The hotel’s former security supervisor, Eddy Garcia, revealed in his testimony that he got a call from “KK”, Diddy’s chief of staff after the incident.

According to him, ‘KK’ asked him if there was any way she could get a copy of the tape. The ex security guard told her she would need to contact the hotel manager or get a subpoena, but an hour later she pulled up in person and put Diddy on the phone.

Garcia claims the ‘Bad Boy’ honcho explained that he had “a bit too much to drink”, saying “you know how it is with women” and emphasized how the video leaking could “ruin him” if released.

Garcia discussed the situation with his boss, Bill Medrano, and said it could be taken care of for $50k. He met with Diddy and showed concern about this backfiring if Cassie pressed charges.

However, the rapper reassured him that Cassie wanted the video gone as well. He even reportedly called her to corroborate the story.

Garcia added that Diddy made him sign a non-disclosure agreement, giving him $100k in a paper bag and advising him not to make any big purchases. The former guard took $50K, his boss took $30K and an overnight security officer received 20K. He used his share to buy a new car, never depositing it in his bank or reporting it on his taxes.

After the video was leaked by CNN, Diddy released a video apology, saying he was “truly sorry” and his actions were “inexcusable.”

“I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I was disgusted then when I did it. I’m disgusted now,” the music mogul said in a video statement posted Sunday to Instagram and Facebook, per AP News.
