Chrisean Rock Links Up With Her ‘Drug Addict’ Mother

Back in June, Chrisean Rock was sentenced to 12 months probation and 30 days in jail for assaulting Tamar Braxton’s backup singer, James Wright.

According to James, Chrisean was upset and felt played because she thought she was performing at the show, but wasn’t.

The reality star and rapper then punched him in the face with her rings on and chipped his tooth, also injuring his nose in the process. She’s forbid from being 100 yards within James and the Lucky Strike bowling alley where the incident happened.

While she’s behind bars, a video of Rock and her mother has resurfaced. In the clip which the ‘Vibe’ rapper posted on Instagram Story back in July of 2022, roughly two years ago, the duo are seen having a mother-daughter time together.

The video is now making rounds online, with many people calling Rock’s mother a ‘drug addict’. “It’s obvious that her mom is on something and this might be root of Chrisean’s issues,” a user commented.

“Her mom looks like she does drugs now I see why her daughter acts like that,” another person wrote. “This explains a lot, boi,” someone else added.

Chrisean revealed herself that her mother was a drug addict in an interview with Fox back in 2020. She told the publication that her father was in prison for much of her childhood, and her mother struggled to keep a home while battling a drug addiction.

The former athlete said she became homeless at the age of 9 and stayed with friends and family members during that time before finding a new place to stay. However, she was able to stay on track with the love and support she received from coaches, friends, and her school.

“As a young, black, beautiful woman, I am a survivor. Since I didn’t have the childhood I should’ve had, then I can have the future that I deserve,” the 24-year-old said at the time.
