Bobbi Althoff Reveals She Tried To Kill Herself At Age 14

NLE Choppa is getting praised across social media after showing compassion and support to Bobbi Althoff who opened up to him about her mental health struggles as a teenager.

The rapper is known for his raunchy lyrics and wild antics, and surprisingly he was also able get deep when the situation calls for it.

During the Wednesday, July 31 episode of Bobbi Althoff’s The Really Good Podcast, NLE Choppa asked the comedian what she was doing when she was 14. Bobbi replied that she had just started going to high school, adding that she once attempted suicide when she was only 14 years old.

“Oh, I tried to kill myself when I was 14,” the podcaster said. However the 21-year-old Memphis native assured Althoff that he wasn’t going to judge her, as he too tried ending his life at the age of 12.

He admitted to not caring about life at 14 and asked Bobbi why she didn’t want to live and even told her that he was glad she decided not to end it all. “I think both is valid… I’m so glad you didn’t do that because look at you now,” he said.

The rapper also asked Althoff’s critics and trolls to notice that she was human before anything. “Your 14-year-old self is looking at you now, ready to drop down to your feet and say thank you,” he added.

She then thanked him and noted that his words made her quite emotional.
