Adult Film Star Saiveon Hopkins Aka Jay Hefner Has Passed Away

Popular adult film star Saiveon Hopkins, also known as Jay Hefner, has passed away. He was killed in a shooting Lincoln, Nebraska, on Sunday. Jay leaves behind his 10-month-old daughter, his mother and siblings.

According to report reaching us, the shooting took place around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday. Officers responded to the scene near North 11th and O streets and found two men with gunshot wounds.

Both men were rushed to a local hospital. One of the men was identified as Jay Hefner, who later succumbed to his injuries. The other man suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The news of Jay’s passing was confirmed by YouTuber Adam22.

A GoFundMe page has since been launched to raise funds for the OF star’s funeral expenses. Saiveon was shot while trying to protect his cousin from physical violence, according to the fundraiser.

The shooting happened in Lincoln, Nebraska, on Sunday. Saiveon, who lives in California, was in Lincoln for a birthday celebration. The 23-year-old leaves behind his 10-month-old daughter, his mother and siblings.

“On September 8, 2024, my close friend Jeni Brown, lost her son due to a senseless act of gun violence while trying to protect his cousin from physical violence in Lincoln, NE. Saiveon Hopkins was visiting his family in Lincoln for a birthday celebration and was to return to his home in Ontario, CA following the weekend,” creator of the GoFundMe page wrote.

“Saiveon was a shining light that was there for everyone who loved him. Father to a 10 month old daughter, who adored him, he also helped his terminally ill mother care for his siblings,” the creator continued.

“Due to the financial strain already placed on the family for Jeni’s medical care and the unexpected passing, I am wanting to help raise funds to relieve them of the financial burden during an already devastating time. Funerals can be costly and we would like to honor Saiveon in a way that he deserves. Please consider donating or sharing this link.”
