A Michigan Judge couldn’t believe his eyes after a man with a suspended license attended a virtual court hearing for via Zoom while driving his car.

In the video that has now gone viral, Judge Cedric Simpson looked confused as he asked Corey Harris if he was driving.

“Actually, I’m pulling into my doctor’s office. So, just give me one second. I’m parking right now,” Harris replied. The Michigan judge looked bewildered and told Harris’ legal team that his license was suspended.

“Okay, so maybe I don’t understand something,” Judge Cedric Simpson asked. “This is a ‘driving while suspended?’ ”

Harris didn’t immediately realize his error but when he did, it was already too late. The judge immediately revoked his bond. “I don’t even know why he would do that,” the judge said in disbelief.

“Defendant is to turn himself into the Washtenaw County jail by 6 p.m. today. Failure to turn himself in will result in a bench warrant with no bond,” he added.

Corey turned himself in that day and was bonded out two days later. The zoom clip has since been making rounds on social media, garnering lots of reactions from netizens.

“He definitelv missing some screws cause ain’t no way you just said hold on a second to a judge,” someone commented. “Bro wasn’t sure what court case he was attending,” another person wrote. Watch the video below:
