Florida rapper Newage Jerkboy, has reportedly passed away. While there are currently no much information about his death, the rapper’s manager is making some serious allegations the police.

Jerkboy’s manager claims the his death is as a result of police brutality, specifically alleging that Broward police brutalized him.

According to the rapper’s manager, Boward police beat him up and ordered dogs to attack him. The “Florida Steppa” hitmaker was in coma at Broward general hospital before his organs failed and he died.

“Broward County police beat my lil bro up had the dogs attack him now he’s in a coma at Broward general prayers up,” the manager initially posted. Then he later announced that the rapper gave up the ghost.

The 30-year-old whose real name is Cornelius Johnson is rapper and punk rocker known for his eccentric style and controversial antics. He grew up in the ‘Tater Town’ neighborhood and faced a challenging upbringing with an immigrant father from the Bahamas and an African-American mother.

Cornelius was influenced by notable acts including Michael Jackson, Jimi Hendrix, and Steven Tyler through his grandparents. He took interest in skateboarding and music at age 12.

The Florida native first made headlines with his 2017 music video “Married to the Game,” where he wore a wedding dress, sparking comparisons to Young Thug and debates about androgyny in hip-hop.

Jerkboy later clarified this was a clout-chasing stunt and emphasized his heterosexuality. However, he claimed ownership of the “fingernail polish” trend calling out artists like Famous Dex for copying his style.
