Rapper Erica Banks Announces She’s Going On A Stripping Tour, Charging $1K For Private Dances

Erica Banks took fans by surprise after she announced that she’ll be going on a stripping tour. The Texas rapper made the announcement on Instagram and Twitter, garnering mixed reactions from fans.

“You read it right boo CALLING ALL BALLERS & SHOT CALLERS THANK YA! Catch me at your fave Strip Club next week on my stage tour,” she wrote in the caption.

“This one’s been on my Bucket list. Which date are you coming to?” the 26-year-old asked. The stripping tour is set to begin on June 1 at Klub24 in Miami and will now run through June 14 after initially only going until the 7th.

Erica Banks will be live at Two gentleman’s clubs in Houston, one in Dallas, another in St. Louis, and Atlanta’s Magic City. Also, the rapper is offering private dances that start at a whopping $1,000.

As you’d expect, the announcement came with a wide range of reactions from fans. “If she’s a rapper, why is she stripping for money instead of making music?” someone asked. “Music suck so bad she went back to stripping smh,” another person wrote.

“This is embarrassing. We need to bring shame back,” someone else added.

Following the backlash from her announcement, the “Buss It” hitmaker took to X, formerly Twitter to clap back. “My strip tour got yall in a frenzy are yall ok? you don’t have to be a hater babe. Your boyfriend won’t. So let’s just all have a ball and enjoy this,” she wrote.

Banks made headlines back in August, after admitting to being in pain for four months following her second round of BBL surgery.  “You know what, I was scared but I just started prayer and I just went in there and I was like I’m giving it to God,” she said at the time.

“The first day, I passed out .. you know you lose a lot of blood, so I passed out the first day. It was so scary. And then the pain is just excruciating, cause the inside of your body is just brutalized.. so it took a while,” she added.
