R&B Singer Jaheim Arrested On Multiple Charges Of Animal Cruelty

R&B singer Jaheim, full name Jahiem H. Hoagland, has reportedly been booked on multiple charges of animal cruelty for a second time.

On May 1, the 47-year-old singer known for hits like “Put That Woman First” (2003) and “Fabulous” (2003), was reportedly arrested for the endangering of his six dogs in Atlanta.

He was charged with six counts of animal cruelty, and accused of not providing his dogs with adequate water, leaving them in unsanitary conditions and having insufficient ventilation.

Jaheim housed different breeds of dogs including four pitbull terriers, a French bulldog and a hound mix-breed, according to Complex,

The New Jersey born singer was released the following day, but the arrest comes three years after he was arrested and charged with third-degree animal cruelty and failure to provide necessary care to an animal.

Back in 2021, the Grammy-nominated R&B singer was alleged to have starved fifteen dogs at his New Jersey residence, including one that was found unresponsive and needed to be euthanized.

The surviving dogs recovered included 12 mixed-breed pit bull terriers, two American Staffordshire terriers, and a mixed-breed boxer. The dogs were later put up for adoption.

The vocalist’s latest arrest continues to raise questions about his treatment of animals and his legal battles surrounding these allegations.
