Anthony Edwards Tells Judge to Give Ayesha Howard Sole Physical & Legal Custody of Daughter

Anthony Edwards has been in the news over his child with socialite and IG influencer Ayesha Curry. The NBA star has reportedly told court that he does not want to share legal or physical custody of the daughter he shares with his ex.

The Minnesota Timberwolves baller says Ayesha can have full custody of six-month-old Aubri Summers Howard, per court documents obtained by In Touch.

“[Ayesha] and I have one minor child together, Aubri Summer Howard. Paternity was recently established through DNA testing. I am not seeking child custody or visitation of Aubri. Therefore, the only issues to be resolved are financial in nature,” the 23-year-old said in his filing.

Edwards and Ayesha are currently locked in a bitter child support battle. According to the socialite’s attorneys, she is “currently unemployed and [relying] on savings, family support, and any support that Edwards provides to maintain the needs and care for the minor child.”

The IG model is asking for the athlete to pay child support, to pay for their daughter’s education, and for him to reimburse her for any “actual costs incurred for her pregnancy, birth, and expenses incurred after the child’s birth.”

She also wants him to pay her legal fees. It’s noteworthy that Ayesha also shares a child with Atlanta rapper, Lil Baby.

Fans have since been reacting to the new development. “When he randomly gets injured this will be why… you can’t choose to not be a dad,” someone commented. “Smh his daughter gone grow up hating men,” another person wrote.

“Bro standing on deadbeat business,” a fan penned. “Why is this man running away from his responsibility?” someone else queried.
