Sexyy Red Shocked After She Heard DDG’s Real Deep Voice

DDG recently shared a new video on his popular YouTube channel, which shows him spending time with buzzing female rapper, Sexyy Red. “24 Hours In Miami With Sexyy Red,” the title of the video reads.

The rapper and YouTuber was having a meal with Sexyy Red when he got a little too comfortable and revealed his real voice.

Sexyy Red lost it upon hearing DDG’s real deeper voice. The rapper who goes by PontiacMadeDDG on his channel, switched to what he calls his real voice after the two had been speaking for about 18 minutes and she was clearly taken aback.

“Thought you’d be able to be yourself around her,” one of his team members said. “You know that’s my real voice right.. I swear to God it is,” the rapper said.

Following the dramatic scene over her initial shock, the St. Louis rapper started laughing  hysterically. “Who was that?” she asked jokingly. “God baby,” someone replied. “That’s why I don’t do it, bro.. That’s why I don’t do that shit,” DDG said.

Back in 2022, DDG made headlines after his supposed real voice started making rounds online. He addressed it at the time and revealed that it makes him feel “real insecure.”

“I just get real insecure, I don’t like to really, like, expose myself like that. I like to stay low-key and just be who I am. So I’ve be trying to like, talk regular,” he explained on ‘Dope As Usual’ podcast, switching his tone again. “I feel like when I talk regular, it’s like I’m more relatable to y’all. It’s just easier for me to grow as a musical artist, creator and shit.”

“I just feel like if I use my deep voice, a lot of y’all wouldn’t take me seriously, and it’d be like, funny. I see a lot of people laughing about it and shit, and that’s just like, that’s why I don’t like really using it like that. A lot of motherfuckers take that shit like it’s a motherfuckin’ joke, but it’s just me like, opening up,” he added at the time.
