Cardi B Slams Donald Trump For Promising Police Immunity After Sonya Massey’s Murder

Sonya Massey’s murder has been a major issue both online and offline with people seeking justice and asking for police reform after a deputy shot her in the face following a call to report a possible prowler in her Illinois home.

Sangamon County Sheriff’s Deputy Sean P. Grayson, has since been charged with the 36-year-old Black woman’s murder and pleaded not guilty.

The masses are furious by disturbing incident and the gory bodycam footage that surfaced shortly after. While the case is still on, Donald Trump triggered a lot of people when he promised to give police officers federal immunity from prosecution.

“We’re going to give immunity to the police so that they can do their job. I’m giving federal immunity to the police officers so they can do their job,” the former President said during a recent speech.

This isn’t the first time the Bronx native will be speaking out regarding Sonya Massey’s murder. She recently blasted conservative commentator Candace Owens, over her remarks on the incident.

Candace claimed the incident wasn’t racially motivated. “There are mistakes that happen. The idea that you’re now going to use this situation to try to make Black Americans believe that this happened simply because she was Black,” she said.

Cardi went off on Candace telling her to shut up! “You don’t feel one little bit of empathy, a little bit of sympathy of how this woman died? There was no argument, there was no conflict, there was no raised voice, and she got shot,” she said.
